In COCOZNA Glamping Norcasia we are sure that what is given is received, that we can live and enjoy everything that nature offers us respecting it, taking care of it and generating the least possible impact on it, on the environment and on the local culture.
We are all temporary guests on this planet.
In this way, 100% of the operating costs of our Ecohotel stay in the community. We generate two direct jobs and three indirect jobs, with people from the villages of Cañaveral in Samaná, Caldas, and from the municipality of Norcasia.
The boat entrance and horseback riding services are provided by local entrepreneurs.
All our suppliers are local, from the fruits for the juices to the smallest ingredients in our menu.
Connection with nature
We transformed a place used for cattle ranching into a biodiverse environment that respects the fauna and flora. We have planted more than 40 trees, including native plants and fruit trees.
We constantly take care of our water source, we classify and properly manage all our waste, but above all, we provide a personalized experience in the middle of nature, away from mass tourism, demonstrating that we can enjoy it and live with it without affecting it.
